Note; I Am aware this is easily perceivable against my Who am I, I am no more than you. article. But using others as a bench mark, differs from the idea of self neglection from irrational way of thinking.

Your childhood, more than likely consisted of the idea of equality, But they lied. Not everyone is equal, and that's okay. A man who finds value within the close barrier of life, holds much more meaning to a society. Than a man who lets his environment define him, Instead he should define his environment.

This is also known as free will, Without understanding of determinisms co-existence to free will. It’s very easy to fall into a victims mindset. Where ‘You must choose to become the person you aspire to be, before you are that person’. Is the opposed to ‘you cannot choose the person you become, as you are already that person’

No matter how small, Every step matters. The Value isn’t in proportion When you compare yourself to someone older, smarter, richer than you. That is why you must find people that share values and have crossover aspects of their life and yours.

It is not of a logical (or rational) mind, to compare yourself to someone within different standards and boundaries.
